Mechanicals
The 2. 2 170bhp 6 cylinder M54 engine starts on the button, and sounds great. The car does not leak any oil or water and does not overheat. The car drives fantastically, and pulls through each gear really well. The exhaust note from the 6 cylinder engine is really nice. There are no warning lights displayed.
Bodywork
As can be seen by the pictures (taken Sunday 17th July), for a 21 year old car it is in fantastic condition, and the Dakar Yellow paintwork really looks great. Yes there are marks commensurate with age: some stone chips to the front bumper; a scuff to the underside central section of the front bumper, and some minor marks here and there. There is no rust or corrosion on the car.
Interior
Just like the bodywork the interior similarly is in great condition too. The Black Leather Sport Seats are in good condition. All of the dials, buttons and electrics work as intended
Alloy Wheels
The 17 inch offset alloy wheels have all been freshly refurbished, and have also just had brand new tyres fitted all round.
Soft Top
The electric soft top is in fantastic condition, with a nice clear rear screen, and the mohair does not have any rips/ tears or frays. The electric operation works without any fault.
