1999 2. 5 Boxster in Arena red.
Bought for my wife in 2011 from 911 Virgin, it’s been superb car for the past 11 years and 33, 000 miles but we’ve now bought a small car to tow behind our motorhome so sadly it’s time to say goodbye.
94. 5K Miles, MOT until August 2023 (>12 Months)
Home serviced since we’ve owned it (receipts kept) & comes with a pile of paperwork back to 2000, most of the Porsche Invoices are present. Service booklet with stamps and pouch with all booklets. Spare wheel and toolkit in trunk, locking wheel nut.
I have done the following work recently (within last 3 yrs)
Minor service, oil filter, sump plug and crush washer, oil, air filter.
N3 rated Michelins tyres all round with good tread depth
Horns replaced
Removed front bumper and cleaned all debris from between radiators (replaced coolant rads) and condensers.
Replaced both front tuning forks & coffin arms, drop links and ARB bushes, outer tie rods.
New MAF sensor.
Bonnet gas struts.
New Alarm control unit
The car drives very well and both exterior and interior is in lovely condition for its age. The 2. 5 still packs a punch and is more than quick enough to enjoy some country roads. It sounds lovely and smooth. The roof is in full working order and the rear Perspex screen was replaced in 2018, very minimal creasing marks and no signs on stretching or sagging. All 3 keys present (2 remote & 1 Service)
Bad points.
Air con does not work.
Hard top (Alcantara trimmed inside) is a 10ft paint job, looks great at that distance, but a bit orange peel up close!
Small bit of lacquer peel on one mirror
Only 1 remote fob works (All 3 work to start the car though)
Full 12 month MOT, expires Aug 2023
Private plate not included in sale (original reg was T167BRS)
