1995 bmw e34 525i, with great spec and only 94k miles.
Black, manual, butter smooth inline 6 and cream leather interior, it’s the perfect e34.
Completely unmolested, very rare to find this spec and condition.
Private plate; ‘m5 plw’ and wheels; Bbs rc090 (with 5th full size spare in the boot) will be included in the sale – both valued at about £2000.
I bought the car in September 2019 from a chap who had it from almost new. He garaged it for about 15 years. I’ve only driven it around 6, 000 miles in the 3 years I’ve owned it and it hasn’t missed a beat. It starts first time, every time and drives perfectly. Gearbox is silky, no crunches or hesitation and the clutch feels like it has a lot of life left. Those who know, know this block is one of the best engines BMW has made, it’s reliable, strong and if looked after will go on forever. I sold my last e34 with 195k miles on the clock and it would have gone on for another 100k without issue.
Just had an MOT, so is not due until Nov 2023
Things I have done recently, which is very little as it hasn’t wanted for much:
- all new springs front and back, about 1000 miles ago.
- all new tyres, about 300 miles ago.
- new windscreen, about 7 months ago.
- full service (spark plugs, all filters, new oil to spec etc was carried out about 1500 miles ago.
There are a few little things that are preventing this from being a £15, 000 car:
- headlining could do with replacement, have been quoted around £350.
- little spots of rust at the bottom of the driver’s door, very common. As well as a small piece of trim that needs refitting at the bottom of the passenger door
- one or two pin dents, some scratches but nothing major, it’s over 25 years old.
- toolbox is missing one or two things.
Only selling as it’s unfortunately become superfluous and doesn’t get driven as often as it did. I now work from home so do very little driving, so time for someone else to enjoy it.
Comes with original brochures, repair handbook, magazines of the era containing a feature of the e34 and even the leather sample, which is ultra-rare.
