Here we have for sale a 1929 Viking. The Viking
was the first American 90- degree V8 cast iron
mono block engine production car. It is a very very
rare car. The Viking was only made for 2 years due
to The Great Depression in America during the
1930s. The Viking brand was to be the luxurious
side of Oldsmobile, the product of General Motors.
This car is a must for any true American V8 engine
collector. The car is very powerful and
demonstrates great performance for a 1929 car.
The car today still drives very well and keeps up with modern traffic
no problem. The car has wooden spoke wheels
and new tyres on the rear and the front. The spare
tyre is in very good condition. The car has had a
new battery in the last 3 months. The body work on
the car is very good and the paint has a nice old
patina. The car comes with a large history file
including fantastic photos of the original American
family who owned the vehicle in the 1930's. Overall
a nice elegant six light car that presents itself very
well for nearly 100 years old car. The car is easy to
drive for a vintage car and has good brakes. It has been a joy to own but I am thinning down my collection due to ill health.
Any question please ask.
Thank you
