i am selling this lovely old rover with a small amount of work to get her running and on the road.
it was purchased from the family of the owner who sadly passed away recently. Since i have had the car we have rebuilt the carb with a kit but at the moment a bit more teaking is required with the mixture as she will only run with the choke out slightly. The body is in good condition with the only signes of rust being small sections at the fronts of the rear wings and the corner of the bottom of the rear doors. She looks very presentable, underneath she is structually solid. the rear bumper is good but the front will require rechroming at some stage. I maybe able to find better front bumper sections to go with the car as i sell rover p5 spares and have a good stock available.
the interior is superb as you can see from the pictures and has the desirable front bench seat.
the mileage, the family believe is genuinely low and the ownership is standing at only 2.
i have only run the rover in the yard but the engine sounds sweet, the gearbox worked in forward and reverse gear and the brakes worked.
all in all a very nice car virtually ready to go.
