An excellent condition original BMW R65 with some of the best upgrades and extras already fitted. It’s a D reg, 1987 bike with 60200miles on the clocks. All chrome work is in excellent condition.
It has the following extras fitted:
* R85 barrel and head conversion from Siebenrock . This is a direct upgrade to an 850cc setup using a professional upgrade kit essentially giving you the 850cc R85 engine in the R65 chassis. This kit alone costs over £800
* Upgraded final drive to the R80 setup (inline with the Siebenrock upgrade)
* Keihan Stainless steel pipes and rear balance pipe
* Chrome pannier rack
* Original BMW top-box (expanding type)
* Givi Airflow high screen
* Custom hand guards
* Oxford heated grips
* Engine upgrade - Front cover, top cover, airbox & cylinder covers all Ceracoted.
* Original BMW crash bars fitted
Good Points:
* V5 Present along with previous documentation (over 20 years of paperwork, virtually FSH)
* MOT’ed til 10/ 12/ 2023
* Recently serviced, new oils, filter etc.
* New front tyre, rear tyre has 2mm of tread left
* Always garaged
Bad Points:
* Some slight paint flaking on the back shock. Shock still works well with no leaks etc.
* Some paint chips to the front fender
* Front header pipes could do with replacing at some point in the future, work well but lost chrome
