1961 Daimler SP250 Dart Sports Car
This gorgeous car is totally original and has been in the care of just 2 private owners in its 61 years.
It has covered only 38, 000 miles from new and retains its paint, leather and carpets from the day it left the factory in 1961.
The car runs and drives superb, recently having a thorough mechanical recommissioning by Paul Brown Classic Jaguar, including: hoses, lines, leads, gaskets, spark plugs, points, condenser, transmission and engine oils, brake fluid, brakes, fuel pump, clutch slave & master cylinder and suspension etc etc.
Bodywork is in very good condition with no signs of damage or previous repairs. The paintwork is showing its ago and is worn and discoloured. Chrome work is all in very good condition.
Interior. The seats are in good condition but the leather is showing it’s age. In my opinion far to nice to re-trim
Again carpets are original but age worn. Still retains all original features including the spring steering wheel with centre indicator switch. Very comfortable nice cabin
Chassis is in excellent condition.
Complete with, hood, hood cover and often missing tonneau cover.
The car comes with a superb impeccable history. Bill of sale, handbook plus letters from the first owner including correspondence between him and Daimler works concerning undergoing an engine overhaul and replacement rear axle at circa 18, 000 miles during August 1964.
