Very clean and well cared for BMW bike with full clip off luggage set, both sets of keys, loads of service history, ABS brakes and full MOT, HPI clear, ride away today.
Part of a private collection and being sold due to the aging owner thinning out a few bikes, its only done just over 100 miles per annum for the last 16 years, never failed its MOT and been well serviced and very carefully stored. Came out of storage, went straight to the testing station and passed with no advisories.
A really good value bike, more than enough power available, relaxed riding down a motorway but also happy to get excited on the twisty stuff, the 1083cc 90hp flat twin boxer engine doing a great job however your riding, the “Telelever” front suspension minimises fork dive giving you plenty of confidence for late braking approaching a corner and yet it’s very refined on a motorway, a proper dual-purpose sports tourer.
ABS brakes, smooth shaft drive, hardly a mark can be found anywhere, the wheels are in amazing condition, adjustable front seat height, original tool kit, full immobilising alarm with two remotes and both sets of keys. Masses of paperwork and invoices, mostly BMW dealers in the early years. Original clip on / off BMW panniers on the same key as the ignition and an after market GIVI top box, you have enough luggage room for a European tour, the bike looks great with or without the boxes.
It has covered 38341 miles, MOT until 26th Sep 2023, first registered 29th June 1993 with 3 former keepers, HPI checked and all clear, checked on 29/ 09/ 2022. We would advise a service and check over due to lack of use in recent years.
If you’re looking for an affordable winter runabout, an end of the season bargain or a future classic to stick away this bike is worth considering, a real lot of machine for not a lot of money.
Test pilots need not apply, no tyre kickers on a Sunday ride out and if you want to ride it, to “see if its for you” bring the full asking price in cash for me to hold in my hand until you bring it back looking the same as when you set off, and I don’t care what the insurance policy you wave in front of my face says, no money to put down, no ride, if want better customer care go to a main dealer with a coffee machine and nice warm showroom and much higher prices.
