1999 Reliant Robin 3.
My favourite shape of Robin with some nice styling touches. Originally in Vauxhall Arden blue pearl but has been resprayed in a similar, slightly darker colour at some point.
A nice winter project for someone. Almost ready for the road.
Loads done, partially disassembled ready for repainting (engine and gearbox out).
Engine: 850cc, not the original. Rebuilt bottom end with reground crank and bearings. Previously new pistons, clutch, oil pump, rebuilt carb, replaced head gasket and re-seated valves, electronic ignition, etc, etc! Very good, slick gearbox. Fuel tank repainted, new sender and E10 proof fuel hose fitted.
Body: Very good. All GRP repairs done properly. Windscreen leaks and needs sealing in. Paintwork poor, readying for fine finishing prior to repaint. New front lights and good rear lights.
Brakes: Rebuilt.
Chassis: Good (galvanised) and repainted front suspension, prop shaft (new UJs) and rear axle.
Interior: Okay: recovered seats, average dashboard and poor door card condition (a previous owner obviously had a dog!). Headlining is recent but could do with some work when the windows are out for painting.
Note that it doesn't come with the alloys shown: Update: I have two more of the same alloys (12" Cosmic) that need repainting/ polishing that can go with the car, if wanted.
