1985 Ninja 600R A1, GPZ 600R. Extremely rare first model. I bought this bike over a year ago from the original owner who purchased it new
in new Hampshire in 1985. In the early 90's he migrated to England with his collection of bikes. He decided to re commission them a couple of years ago however his age caught up with him and sold them on. I have the original sale receipt and title (like a v5). After I got the bike I applied for a nova certificate as he never bothered applying for one which I now have to go with the bike. I rebuilt the brake calipers and master cylinders and gave it a good clean as it was covered In protective oil hence the complete original exhaust system which is still like new. The forks are unpitted and the plastics have no cracks. It started straight away albeit a bit lumpy maybe needing carbs balanced etc. I just can't be bothered with it as I have another bike so this would be a great winter project for somebody with the time, space and interest.
