Only 1980 of the Honda Accord Type-R (ATR) 1998/ 2002 with the CH1 chassis and sold on the European market were produced, of which 50 Limited in white, these are provided with a numbered plaque on the dashboard, which also included a numbered poster certificate and a special key ring with the shape of the VTEC valve cover in red. Our white Limited nr 45 is from 08-01-1999, original Dutch delivery, poster certificate and key ring are still with the car. The NAP registered Km’s is 244736. All the original booklets are still with the car
The Honda is still in very nice original and untouched condition, the interior looks perfect and the almost original paint is still top. I had known about the existence of the car for a long time and knew that an older gentleman was the owner, during our contact he let us know that he did not use the car much anymore and also wanted a slightly more manageable car, as long as it was a Honda, in the end it was the sale was completed and the Accord went with it.
The Accord has received some Tuning updates in the past from AKR tuning, specialized in Hondas, a slightly modified ECU, slightly stiffer suspension, special intake path and a Mongoose exhaust system. The looks of the Honda remained completely original. We have given the Honda a very extensive service, including the total replacement of the distribution belts, including tension rollers, tensioners and water pump. The total service is documented by means of an internal invoice.
