Beschreibung
Recently the subject of a 1100hr structural rebuild and back to metal repaint, alongside this all the braking system renewed, new servo & master cylinder non abs, all suspension renewed lowered coils, uprated dampers, new rad water pump etc & full recommission service. New Tyres Battery etc. The time spent on the mechanical work and supervising the project was on top of this there are a few minor jobs to finish but change of circumstances have prompted me to offer it for sale.
The Range Rover was restored by a very experienced bodywork specialist in Wales , the main problem as with all of them was in the body structure, sills, floors, inner wings etc, all done with new panels, YRM, Froggatt's or fabricated on site.
The only one on this site with photographs to show you what the rot in the body structure does to them, Alan who rebuilt it took almost 500 photographs of the work in progress. It is only on offer because I have been offered something I would like to own but but rare for me will not buy without selling something first.
L7LSE is still on my lift having two weeks ago completed a full Dinitrol underbody and chassis injection rust treatment so if you contact me before the end of the week 10/ 3/ 23 I will leave it on there for a full inspection.
If you are seriously interested in this vehicle then I would much prefer if negotiations were done the old fashioned way, phone call to find out more and arrange viewing rather than the usual short email requesting more details or photographs, phone me and I will tell you as much as I can, I have owned this Range Rover for over 14 years and it has been renovated as a keeper not with a view to sale but as I said circumstances change, I know I will not cover the costs on this even it it makes the full asking price but if it does not sell I hope it will be back at the vintage shows this year, If you call please make it in the afternoons to early evening and if I am not able to pick up your call there is an answer phone so please leave your name and number and I will call you back.
Well over £50000 excluding my own time and travelling costs invested in this project to date but with increased costs over the last 9 months to do it again would be about 20% more, take a project like this to one of the "specialists" and you won't see much change out of £80/£100K so if you want a bargain if anything at under £60k can be described as such strike now. By the way this one has picnic tables on the back of the front seats, the last set of those I saw on ebay made £1250 two years ago.
