Beschreibung
This is a true gentleman's motor car, purchased new in 1958 by a Major Lawden, ownership passing to his son upon the Major’s death. Father and son kept this car for a total of 55 years until 2013 when purchased by the third owner, another military man.
This stately old Rover is in fairly good shape overall, she’s a first time starter and once warmed through she pulls and runs very well indeed, just like it’s supposed to do. Everything works correctly. 2 litre, 4 cyl engine with a four speed manual gearbox (working freewheel).
Never being restored but having been very well maintained all her life (Robbins of Putney etc).
Having always being regular M. O. T. d she benefits from a valid M. O. T. Certificate that runs until 29. 11. 2023.
The really good thing about this car is the full compressive history that shows exemplary providence. Full history, please phone.
The downside is the paintwork. Please ring to get the full story and a very accurate discription of this very useable classic car.
