Here for sale is my father’s 300tdi Defender 90 on a galvanised Marsland chassis with Terrafirma suspension. Traditional green with a wood-rimmed steering wheel giving it a classic look (and leg room).
Originally was a van cab but as you can see has had windows fitted along with rear seats and belts with correct supports.
Fully converted to automatic using original Land Rover 50th anniversary parts and a reconditioned transmission from Ashcroft including transmission cooler. This makes this a great useable classic while maintaining the original torque as the Defender transfer box was used. The bulkhead is in fantastic condition with no corrosion or blisters and fitted with heavy-duty door hinges. Has had a repaint at some point in its life but not sure when but as you can see the body is lovely and straight and all the factory spot welds are visible and not covered in filler. Upgraded LED lights all round, recent full service including cam-belt so ready to go anywhere.
