Built between 2010 and 2014, the sports car was the first model developed entirely by AMG and is based on its historic role model, the Mercedes 300 SL. To mark the end of production, Mercedes-AMG launched the "Final Edition" special model, limited to 350 units. Under the bonnet is the now legendary naturally aspirated V8 with a displacement of 6, 208 cc, which now delivers 591 hp and 650 Nm in the Final Edition. In addition to the increased performance, the bonnet and trim elements of the "Final Edition" are made of visible carbon fibre.
