We are delighted to offer for sale this very special, rare UK 1981 Ducati 900SS Super Sport finished in the stunning black and gold paint scheme having been fully restored.
The bike was previously owned by an airline pilot from the south coast who sent the bike to specialists Tony Brancato to have a total restoration carried out as he was intending to use it in the Millie Miglia , Tony advised against him using the 900ss for this as most used 175cc Italian machines, anyway Tony did the restoration at huge expense with well over £12, 000 spent restoring the motor, new barrels, pistons the whole works. Having spoken to Tony Brancanto he recalls the restoration and his happy to speak to any prospective buyers. The bike was then sold it to a retired policeman from the Durham area who had the bike as an ornament only riding it occasionally. Its last owner purchased the bike several years ago from him.
This machine of which only 1085 were produced in 1981 is supplied with a host of old MOT's documenting the bikes mileage and features exemplary craftsmanship and would be the true jewel in the crown of any collection, please do not hesitate to contact us for further information, we can offer UK and worldwide delivery services.
