This bike has had four owners including myself. The first owner had it from new to March 1988 when it was sold to bill little motorcycles. In March 1989 it was sold, between 1989 and 1992 it underwent a restoration, everything was either replaced or overhauled, the bike then covered approximately 1500 miles before it was laid up in December 1996. it remained in a dry garage until January 2023 (approx 26 years) when i bought it to return it to working condition and get it back on the road where it belongs.
During the recommissioning i replaced the battery, fuel pipe, changed the corks in the fuel tap, drained the old fuel, checked tappets, points, replaced the spark plug. With fresh fuel it started second kick after 26 years.
Mechanically the bike wants for nothing, it is not concourse but is an excellent reliable example of a 350 Ariel NH Red Hunter
