Description
Was kept garaged and one owner for almost it's whole life so crack free dash, no wrinkles in the door cards etc, 1 rust patch on the driver's footwell, some surface rust on a couple of the arches but apart from that it's super clean underneath and throughout. There are a few age related marks here and there, it's not a mint car by any means but I would say it's a very well preserved example.
2. 3L Petrol B230K Redblock engine and M47 manual transmission. It has been fitted with the Volvo 740 Weber conversion kit (with manual choke cable) from Webcon UK as the previous Pierburg Carburettor had the common auto choke issues (will still come with the car) Flew through the emissions test when it was MOT'd last month.
A list of jobs that need doing;
Speedometer not working
Driver's seat torn.
Driver's carpet removed (to check for rust and lost during a house move)
Interior trim around the driver's side that's in the boot and needs reinstalling once a carpet is found.
Gear knob loose
Exhaust down pipe has a loud blow
All tyres are quite old (didn't fail MOT)
As mentioned 1 or 2 of the arches need slight attention, just surface rust and they were rubbed back but never dealt with.
Fuel door missing
Runs a little too cool (not just in looks)
It's really a great early example that just needs some TLC now. Tax and test exempt in 2 years!
