A historic model in the continuing history of the Rolls-Royce marque, the Phantom was the first all-new design to be introduced by the company following its takeover by BMW. Produced at a new factory near Goodwood in Sussex, the Phantom revived a great name from Rolls-Royce's past that had always been synonymous with unrestrained luxury. In keeping with the tradition established by previous Phantoms, the newcomer was a very large motor car, outstretching the old Silver Seraph by 18" while boasting a radiator shell four inches taller. Priced at around £260, 000 at time of launch, it was also 40% more expensive. While the body structure represented the ultimate in automotive technology, its accoutrements remained entirely traditional in choice of materials, consisting of the finest hide trim, genuine woollen carpets, and carefully selected wood veneers.
Originally registered on 17th March 2009, this stunning Rolls-Royce is a wonderful example and presents in its stunning original colour combination of dark tungsten pearl with consort red leather interior. The specification of the wonderful example includes electric Spirit of Ecstasy, Bluetooth phone, sat nav, concealed umbrellas, black piano wood, automatic doors and starlight headlining. The very modest mileage of 36, 690 is backed up by a full Rolls-Royce service history. The condition of this example speaks for itself and is ready to be used immediately by its new custodian. Very few are seen in this colour combination, and we believe it to be one of the most desirable colour combinations available from new.
Supplied with a full Rolls-Royce service history, previous sale receipts, sundry invoices, maintenance bills, many old MoT records and a current MoT valid until July 2023, this vehicle could be summed up in one word, magnificent. If you are looking for a Phantom Coupé for your collection this example is certainly not to be missed. Interested parties should note that the private registration number will be retained by the current vendor and a new age related plate and registration document will be issued to the new owner following the sale.
