Suzuki Jimny (2002) – Ready for the Summer

The Suzuki Jimny was originally launched in 1970 as part of the Japanese ‘Kei-Class’ of light automobiles. The third series, launched at the 1997 Tokyo Motor Show, was an all-new design with ladder chassis, independent suspension, and engine upgrade. In addition, the convertible soft-top was revised and now incorporated an easy to operate pram hood with integrated roll-over bar.
Milestone Classics have never sold a Suzuki Jimny although we have both driven small Suzuki 4x4’s in the past. I owned a “Samurai” SJ413 back in the day that I used as everyday transport for a year with a couple of green-Lane/ Light off-road days with my girls until one had a panic attack and decided it wasn’t for her! They are surprisingly capable and will plough through just about anything Mother Nature can throw at them.
We have been tracking this car for over a year as the owner was losing his storage and it is the straightest example that we have seen. Our patience has finally been rewarded.
Originally sold by Brighton Suzuki and finished in Black with desirable soft top this example has never been off road and has covered a warranted 72k from new.

Panel fit/ paint finish is very good, and the interior is lovely – please check the pictures. You will be hard pushed to find a nicer example.
There is a small history folder with the car containing V5, service book, old MOT’s, invoices etc.
Cheap 4x4 summer fun and perfect for cruising around London, driving down to the beach with the kids in the back/ top down or simply be a little adventurous and try some light off-roading.
Needs to be viewed to be fully appreciated.
