Selling my near perfect 500 SEL, due to a current business opportunity . ( When this opportunity expires, I will remove the car from sale.)
Only 2 previous owners. The last owner had her stored for around 10 years, and sold her to me as he was coming of age. The car comes with tons of documented history.
I bought her 2 years ago, and recommissioned her, fixing everything that had deteriorated during the storage period; New brake calipers all round, new ABS pump etc.
Work I was going to do next to bring her up to absolute perfect showroom condition;
1. Remove and respray both front wing. They show some rust. Cost £ 350.
2. Replace front bumper chrome centre piece. Cost £ 0. I have it
3. Replace electric aerial. Wiring is working but actual aerial is not. Cost £ 70.
4. Fix squeaky door card passenger door. Cost £ 2 hours labour.
I have driven her nearly 2000 miles now, and she is 100% perfect.
