As confirmed by l'Aventure Peugeot Citroen DS, this DS 21 Pallas left the factory on the 23rd September 1968, it therefore relates to the 1969 model year. Its elegant "pearl grey" colour (ref. AC 95) combined with a black roof and superb Havana leather upholstery give it a real distinction. It was purchased in 2009 by the current owners' grandfather, a major Citroen enthusiast who had collected the most iconic models. Superbly preserved, this example was repainted and the bodywork's alignments are very decent. This DS has benefited from regular servicing, our road test indicated a satisfactory and pleasant working order. It has the original DX engine; it starts straight away and is well tuned. On the other hand, tyres are old and would need to be replaced. The element of surprise is in order when you get on board, with the original and perfectly preserved leather upholstery which exudes a particularly luxurious atmosphere. The beautiful dashboard is enhanced with a Grundig car radio from that era and seat belts are included at the front. Emblematic of a French luxurious conception, this DS Pallas in a seamless original condition deserves to be part of a fine collection.
