Well this is something different.....
At first glance you'd be forgiven for thinking this a run of the mill Spitfire, but no.
This is a re-bodied GT6 fitted with a Spitfire bodyshell. This might be Marmite to some but to be honest its the engine the Spitfire should have always had. Restored and built in 2013.
Finished in mid blue with black interior and a black soft top.
You can see from the engine bay pics that this has been fully rebuilt and detailed. Every suspension bush looks to have been replaced.
The chassis is fully painted as are all accessories.
The bonnet is a fibreglass replacement to further lighten the load.
On the road it's great fun with loads of torque from the 1996cc 6 cylinder engine.
Having been in storage for some time we will be carrying out light re-commissioning work to make sure she's good to go.
The history file includes V5c, old MOT's restoration bills and workshop handbooks.
