Vehicle history:
The '66 Corvette Stingray C2 represents the "American Way Of Life" like no other vehicle from that era. First extensively restored in 1989 at Western Corvette in Calgary, Canada, with gaps like no Corvette C2 has ever left the factory. The modified suspension, in conjunction with the alloy wheels, makes the car unique in Germany. The first owner in Germany restored the Corvette further, modifying mainly the engine and the exhaust system with fan manifold. After the restoration, the car was hardly moved and stood in the living room of the first owner in Germany for almost 20 years. In 2013, the Corvette was purchased by the current owner and driven about 1, 000 km a year. In 2017, minor fire damage caused minimal damage. As a result, the owner "donated" the Corvette to another restoration at Corvette specialist Matthias Metzemacher and installed the current 6. 9 liter "big block" engine with a different transmission. This Corvette is in very good condition with no maintenance backlog and can be registered and driven immediately.
