1976 MG Midget in very good all-round condition with a super solid underside, running and driving absolutely spot on, we handle a few Midgets and this one drive's superb. It’s a good looker with the smart alloy wheels (also comes with the original Rostyle steel wheels included) and it’s had an expensive wooden steering wheel upgrade and comes with a hood down cover for sleek open top looks when the hood is down.
The car has been with the current keeper since 2007 and only covered just under 1000 miles during his long term ownership, currently showing 7962 and when MOT'd in 2006 it was at 6798. We don't believe the mileage will be correct from new, possible a new clock fitted at some point.
It starts very easily and runs very well, pulling strongly through all the gears, it stops well and is steady at speed with no wandering or vagueness of any kind the steering wheel is rock steady and if you press the “go” pedal hard it’s quick at getting up to the speed limit, we have checked the fluids for correct level and contamination.
The interior retains the original high back seats with headrests, both in good order free from rips or damage, as mentioned wood steering wheel fitted with a tidy unmolested dashboard, good carpet set, and a working good quality stereo system, it’s a sung place to get comfy for some motoring adventures.
Both doors, boot and bonnet open, click shut and lock, the windows wind down, the quarter light vents twist, the side lights, head lights, wiper, washers, all work. The hood is serviceable with minor imperfections, the hood windows are clear with no cracks or splits, the hood frame is in good order.
The paintwork is very presentable, there are a few tiny imperfections that will be found on very close inspection. It’s completely solid underneath, the sill’s, floor pans, jacking points, chassis legs are solid, recent new brake pipes fitted and a new fuel tank. Also very tidy under the bonnet, everything where it should be and all clean and tidy, see the pics, any inspection welcome.
We have the full logbook, two sets of keys, a history files containing some invoices and old MOTS, its HPI clear with full printout and the car is TAX and MOT exempt. All the tyres are in very good order with no slows or leaks, they are a matching set of Goodyears.
Draw out of your boring ISA, get out the picnic hamper and go and enjoy your hard-earned savings, you still have a car to sell if you want to cash in later and you will be making memories instead of a pittance of interest.
There are loads of Midgets to pick from, you simply will not find another this well demonstrated, with everything shown to you before you leave the house, nothing hidden and nothing to hide.

All viewings are exclusively by timed APPOINTMENT ONLY, we do not have a showroom or display area, items may have to be brought from our secure storage to view and advance notice will be required.
