We are proud to offer for sale our latest stunning Honda CBR900RR Fireblade. Built in 1992 (the first year of production) but registered in January 1993; A 100% original and highly sought-after iconic twin headlamp UK supplied CBR900 RR-P SC28 893cc Honda Fireblade. Registered on the 5th January 1993, the frame number is SC28-2100019 (93 model year frame numbers started at 2100006) making this the 13th 1993 model Fireblade built and likely to be the oldest surviving RRP.
It has had some sympathetic restoration work by the previous owner who was a perfectionist, and is now in stunning condition, retaining all the genuine Honda bodywork it was supplied with. No aftermarket parts are fitted, it retains the correct exhaust and indicators, even the rare, impossible to find, original screen is present and correct! Upgraded Goodridge braided brake hoses have been fitted. It has been used, but sparingly, the current mileage is 43, 557. It is supplied with the original Owner’s Manual, service book and a large portfolio with all the previous MOT’s, detailed service history and a host of invoices. The bike comes with two original keys, a complete mint original Honda tool kit with a new genuine vinyl tool bag, an original UK 1993 RRP sales brochure and several period magazine road test reports from 1992/ 3. Excellent Metzeler Sportec M3 tyres are fitted and the bike retains the correct 16” front wheel.
This is an exceptional example of a well maintained and cherished FireBlade from the first year of production, with excellent documented provenance, supporting documentation and history. The bike is stunning, not over restored, just original and nicely preserved. with just a few, very minor age related marks that has given this particular bike the absolute perfect balance of 'immaculate condition' combined with original patina.
This 5 star rated motorcycle changed how sports motorcycles were built by being incredibly light, Rivals were all well over 200kg, the first Honda CBR900RR FireBlade was just 185kg which made it perform superbly. Its still a wild ride and a surprisingly practical motorcycle too.
