Description
Premier GT are pleased to present for sale this incredible machine from the German marque Audi, and it fits in with everything we like to deal with. It’s rare, packs a powerful punch and has performance and driver engagement at its heart. This 2012 (62) Audi A1 Quattro has covered 20, 800 miles from new and comes with a full complement of Audi Service history. Towards the end of 2012, Audi released the A1 Quattro as the S1’s extremely rare predecessor and most aggressive Audi A1 ever created. It’s limited to just 333 units worldwide and comes equipped with Audi’s legendary four-wheel drive system. Tapping into the brand’s illustrious past around the ‘Quattro’ mantra, this limited run machine was created to tip a hat to that world famous rally car in a unique and driving-enthused package. As a result, there are a few key elements that make the A1 Quattro so unique. Each of the 333 cars are finished in Glacier White paintwork, come equipped with 18” Glacier White Turbine Alloy wheels, a prominent roof-spoiler, deep-set bumpers and 100mm exhaust tailpipes. It’s competition inspired aesthetic screams excitement well before any hint of the 2. 0L TFSI 252BHP TT engine comes into play. The A1 Quattro is the first A1 to adopt the Turbocharged & Supercharged (an Audi first technology from 2004) 4-cylinder engine and is one of 600 components to have been either reworked or replaced in the A1 Quattro production process. All cars get a 6-speed manual gearbox which is quick shifting and amazing to use. The permanent all-wheel drive system maintains grip and putting power down on the road expertly and in the interest of optimum weight saving, there’s a rear-axle mounted multi-plate clutch, supplemented by an XDS selective differential lock. There’s a quicker steering rack, chassis elements that are heavily borrowed from the amazing TTS and ventilated brakes with 312mm front discs. Inside the cabin, the car is finished in robust, ergonomic, typical Audi fashion. There’s seats from the ‘S’ sibling that come with pronounced bolsters and are both comfortable and supportive. There’s a red ‘quattro’ embossed rev counter and a flat-bottomed steering wheel along with a Bose sound system, leaving virtually no boxes left to tick on the options list. As you would expect of a car from Premier GT, it’s been meticulously sourced to present to you and presented in first class condition.
