This is an original and unmolested example of what is probably one of the best pre war lightweight motorcycles. I have owned it for a couple of years but am rationalising my Jawa CZ collection. It is in excellent running order and appears never to have been restored. It would be an awful pity to restore it!It has had a fixed pedal conversion but as the original pedals were only necessary for starting, and the starting pedal is still there, this is no hardship. Original pedals are still obtainable in the Czech Republic should anyone wish to revert to standard.
These are a rare and collectable machine of which there are only a couple of examples in the UK. It is not UK registered but there is a dating certificate and registration is very straightforward. I even know the name of the original owner!The chances of finding another of these in original condition are pretty remote!
