1931 Rolls-Royce Phantom II Continental
With close coupled four light sports saloon coachwork by Barker. Chassis Number 12JS. I have to admit this is one of the most attractive Phantom II continentals that I have ever seen and possesses one of the most detailed history files one could wish to have with a car. This motorcar was on the Barker stand at the 1931 Olympia motor show and was bought by Sir John Moores of Littlewoods football pools fame. In the 1950's it was owned by the iconic film star Diana Dors. The coachwork is finished in its original colours of black and ivory that enhance the flowing lines beautifully of this very stylish motorcar. The current owner bought the Phantom in 2006 and used it in its oily rag condition for many years and in recent years has set about a very comprehensive restoration that included a complete body restoration and re-paint, a complete interior re-trim including headlining plus a chassis re-build and engine over-haul. This Phantom is well worth coming to see and spending some time going through its encyclopaedic history file. This motorcar is on the button and ready to go.
