Description
1963 3. 8 E Type FHC in Carmen Red with correct black leather.
This original RHD car has a recorded mileage of 78, 242, which could easily be genuine. The engine, body, and chassis numbers all match, which is very rare to find nowadays.
It is an excellent car that drives and handles very well, with very good oil pressure when hot. The handling is nice and firm but not harsh, and it features a superb Moss gearbox. The car performs very well with the 123 ignition fitted.
Most of the enamel on the manifolds is still there, and it has a good quality stainless steel exhaust system.
The chrome wire wheels and speed-rated tyres are in good condition. The upgraded front calipers ensure it stops well.
Come and have a drive in it, you will not be disappointed. The chrome on the bumpers is only average and could be re-chromed over winter.
I believe it has had a light restoration in the past but never a "nut and bolt restoration" with many repro parts, so it retains its integrity.
In very good condition & comes with a current MOT test. This is a very genuine car.
There are very few original RHD cars for sale now, should be a good investment and a fun car to use.
These cars have free road tax and are very cheap to insure.
