Description
1970 Jaguar E-Type finished in the highly desirable Opalescent Silver Grey. This is an original panel car with excellent panel fit throughout, retaining its original factory stickers and benefiting from rust-proofing preservation. A particularly well-presented example in a sought-after colour combination.
Built to a fast road specification, the engine and gearbox have been fully rebuilt, with over £13, 000 invested in the last year alone to bring the car to an exceptional standard. Recent work includes the fitment of new Weber carburettors, a new clutch, a complete stainless steel exhaust system from the headers back, a new cooling system, new front suspension arms, new shock absorbers, and a set of new wheels and trims. The interior has also benefited from being re-trimmed in leather, further enhancing the car’s presentation. Registered in Texas and presented in left-hand drive configuration, it drives superbly and performs exactly as an E-Type should, offering a fantastic blend of classic styling and enhanced road-going usability.
