1981 Ford Transit MK II Factory Motor Caravan Autosleeper Restoration Project
According to the records we have this Transit was ordered like this from new, described in the Ford Service Book, as "Custom Petrol Transit 100 Motor Caravan " it is also stated on the V5C "Motor Caravan"
It came with Elevating Roof, 4 speed manual gearbox with overdrive fitted, Sink, Gas Cooker, Gas Fridge
Also over the years a Porta Loo and Awning have been added
There is a solar panel on the roof with a split charging system, keeping the batteries topped all the time
This is a very rare classic Ford which runs and drives and starts every time, runs and drives just fantastic I've drove the vehicle about 25 miles and it didn't miss a beat, everything works on it, including the lights
It's being sold as a running driving restoration project, it will require some bodywork as can be seen in the pictures, if you require more pictures message me and I'll WhatsApp them to you
