An agile and sporty icon, the champion in its class! The desirable and legendary BERLINETTE A110 V85 1300 VC ... Produced from 1962 to 1977, the Alpine A110 is the heir to the A108 and was presented at the Paris Motor Show in October 1962. It was an instant success, with 6892 examples produced. In the hands of the famous 'Musketeers', it was World Rally Champion in 1971 and 1973 with the brilliance and success that we know! The V85 1300 model was produced from the 1970 model year (July 1969) until 1976. Our example left the factory in 1969 (period register), the year of its 1st registration, and bears chassis number 11361. Its first owner kept it until 1990, when our current owner bought it, with a mileage close to 95, 500 km. The original 1289cc 810 30 engine was replaced by a 1397cc 814 4E by the first owner, probably to optimise performance. Since its purchase in 1990, our owner has driven it very little, due to his busy job and his desire to have his beautiful Dieppoise restored and to take as much care of it as possible. She has always slept warm and dry, carefully avoiding rainy conditions when in use... The restoration we are talking about, carried out by professionals, consisted of a complete paint job (2000), followed in 2008-2010 by the front and rear axles, including shock absorbers, wiring harnesses, bodywork, engine environment, interior, front and rear compartments... with the systematic replacement of all wearing parts or parts requiring replacement. The owner's file includes more than 11, 000 euros worth of invoices at that time. The current seats are MODPLASTIA with MIRAGE harnesses. The vehicle has also undergone an annual overhaul, despite the limited amount of driving, combined with the necessary work. In November 2024, for example, the brakes were overhauled (renovation of callipers, master cylinder, handbrake, etc.) To date, the 5-digit odometer shows 116, 500 km, i. e. only about 21, 000 km covered since the purchase 35 years ago in 1990 ... The registration document is Normal, but could easily be upgraded to Collection if desired. The January 2024 MOT is clean, and the MOT less than 6 months old for the sale was carried out in January 2025, and also validated!
