Description
Honda CB 500 Four, year 1974, vintage preparation, 42, 600 original km (slightly evolving). Motorbike in very good working order, well maintained, with valid roadworthiness certificate. Meticulous preparation in the sporting spirit of the 70s, using period parts: - Dunstall bracelets, - Devil 4-in-1 exhaust, - Japauto throttle, - steering damper, - aluminium horns, - racing / cafe racer bubble, - stick rims, - chrome engine guard and luggage rack.
Recent work carried out: - almost new Michelin Road Classic tyres (less than 500 km), - carburettor kit (ultrasonic cleaning, new seals and jets), - new spark plugs, - new battery.
The seat is original, in good condition (+ Honda spare tool kit), the fuel tank is sound, the engine is in good working order, and I'm supplying 2 sets of keys.
Minor work to be scheduled in the medium term (non-urgent, mentioned on the CT): - rear shock absorbers (the plastic is cracked), - worn gearbox output sprocket, - front brake pads to be replaced (they still have some material but are starting to disintegrate because they are old; a new pair will be supplied with the bike). Last oil change carried out at 41, 800 km. Many new parts are easily found online, particularly on Jeanomoto. Valid roadworthiness test. Regular maintenance with original logbook and numerous invoices available from the 1970s to the present day. More information and Histovec report on request. Motorcycle visible in Celles-sur-Durolle (63), 30 minutes from Clermont-Ferrand and 1h30 from Lyon. I'm selling it reluctantly, due to a lack of time to run it and to finance property work. It has a unique style and a beautiful sound. Asking price: €6, 000 - reasonably negotiable.
