Description
LIBERIA 98 cc 1955 RECONSTRUCTED AS NEW Sell LIBERIA 2-stroke Sachs 98 cc moped from 1955.
Everything has been rebuilt as new and identical (original or old stocks): - electronic ignition (only exception to the original model but not visible), - reconditioned carburettor, - paint by a painter specialising in old vehicles, - all chrome (handlebars, controls, rims with chambers and tyres, air filter, exhaust system, headlight cap and parabola), - wiring harness, all cables including speedo, freewheel, saddle top, crankset ... etc ... - .... list too long to list everything!
This is no longer a restoration but a rebuild in the respect of the identical. For sale because I'm getting too old to drive it and I was only interested in doing a quality restoration. Be careful driving this vehicle is not made for long distances (suspensions at the front, rigid frame at the rear, engine high in the centre of gravity); it is mainly a collector's item in factory condition that can be used for small outings or exhibitions. Collector's vehicle registration document in my possession, roadworthiness test less than six months old and positive.
Sold for less than the cost price, i. e. €2, 500 (no negotiation possible). Possibility of exchange.
