Description
Raced at Sebring in 1957 by Colin Chapman and Joe Sheppard where it won its class and came in 11th overall.
In 1958 Joe Sheppard lent it to a friend that crushed the front side of the car.
A new nose was made by William and Pritchard and part of the front frame was removed and replaced due to damage.
Three owners from new. It was completely dismantled in the 70's and stored in a heated garage where it remains today in the US.
Car inspected the car with Russ Hoeing the US Lotus Eleven and historian that confirmed that #276 (matching engine 400. 7. 7014) is complete. Everything is there to put the car back together again.
