Following a family inheritance, we’re selling our father’s Mazda MX-5. It’s a German-origin model (second owner, in France since 2020), configured in a limited series called “Memories III” (produced in just 500 units for the German market). Please note: you should budget €1, 500–€2, 000 for corrosion repair. The asking price is negotiable.

MOT/ technical inspection:
Done on 27/ 06/ 2026. It received an unfavourable result with 5 items listed below. Ideal for an MX-5 enthusiast, bodywork specialist, or someone who enjoys restoring rare limited editions.
Items to fix (subject to re-inspection before 26/ 08/ 2026 — the vehicle is allowed to drive during this period):
- Visible corrosion at the rear wheel arches (more pronounced on the left), with excessive corrosion affecting the left rear of the sill/ subframe according to the inspection report.
- Fluid leak detected at the front of the vehicle (noted during the inspection as being located under the gearbox). No sign of any leak on the ground during parking; the source still needs to be confirmed, but is very likely a gasket.
- Adjustment needed on the left headlamp dip/ main-beam.
- Rear number-plate light bulb to be replaced
- The front plate has been brought back into compliance (it was missing rivets).
Minor cosmetic issues:
- A few light scratches on the left front bumper.
- Boot lock was forced in the past, but works normally outside of the cosmetic damage.
Documents for sale:
The sale file is complete and all is in order for the inheritance (notarial certificate, signed heir powers of attorney, clean administrative status certificate, registration document (carte grise) and a recent MOT/ technical inspection report).
Vehicle available in Île-de-France (Saint-Rémy-l’Honoré for now, Sartrouville from 04/ 07/ 2026).
Since it was bought in September 2020, the car has covered 13, 887 km and has been parked in an underground car park. It will be moved into a garage/ lock-up in particular to get repair quotes done.
