Hi here we have for sale my ultra rare 1966 Pontiac Ventura Hardtop Coupe. The car was imported to
the uk in 2001 and the owner who had all the work done did so over a 7 year period. His main interest
was to improve its vast performance and several thousands were spent to achive this. The standard 6. 4
litre pontiac engine (389ci) was replaced by a larger 7 litre (421ci) engine therefore the car now
runs on unleaded. Extra performance was obtained by the addition of an Edelbrock inlet manifold,
electronic ignition and a holly carb. Rear suspension was converted to adj. air to give the car more
of a dragster look and accentuate the famous coke bottle line of this classic car. Although the car
performed well the body work had been neglected and was in need of a quality re-paint. The car has
gone through an extensive re-furbishment and although this was done a couple of years ago is still
in remarkable condition. The car had a bare metal re-spray, Full interior replacement including
re-upholsterey and carpets. Wheels were replaced with Grand Prix II rally wheels which have been
finished in black chrome. This car is an icon. Cars restored to this condition
are very rare and can only appreciate in value.
