Engine. Built by Ken Brown - Compsport (engine builder for Skip Brown Cars - Lotus Sunbeam specialist). Fully lightened and balanced, large valve gas flowed head. bronze guides, race springs ARP rod bolts, lotus stretch head bolts. Forged 11. 5:1 pistons Kent cams BCF2 inlet L2 exhaust. Heavy duty engine mounts. Electronic ign. Tubular ex. manifold, custom built 2 1/ 4" system 40 dhla carbs rejetted on r. road - approx 185bhp at flywheel. 6pt Accusump direct to main oil gallery. Ally catch tank, 16 row oil cooler. Special race clutch (re-linable plate). 5 speed Getrag box, custom made 3" diameter 1 pce propshaft, 3. 7:1 final drive
Front suspension rebuilt all new joints, competition bushes, modified for adjustable front camber custom made springs. GAZ adjustable shocks. (full details of spring rates, set-up etc given to purchaser). New calipers and discs 2010 with EBC race pads. Rear modified for 2 1/ 4" springs, adjustable Koni shocks. 6 x Yokohama A048 dry tyres, 4 x Yokohama A021 wets
Custom built weld-in roll cage, Kirkey ally seat. Plumbed in Extinguisher, battery in box on passenger floor. 6pt harness, valid 'til 2013. Brake bias adjuster, ally baffled fuel tank, redtop pump and Filter King.
Everything is as new, all moving parts renewed frequently. Absolutely ready to race, Frequent class winner in 2010, quickest in class Donington March 20th 2011. (not raced since then)
