This car is number 73 of 500, which were made for homolgation purposes.
The car was originally a demonstator at a BMW dealership in Frankfurt before it was imported and sold to its first owner in the UK in 1988.
No expense has been spared keeping this vehicle in excellent order. The car has every MOT present. The vehicle has an A4 lever arch folder full of receipts - the service history on this Evo is exceptional with the service book and all manuals also being present. The servicing was mainly performed by BMW main dealers up until 1995 and then only by E30 M3 specialists.
The timing chain and sprockets were replaced at 102000 miles and as an extra measure the previous owner decided to have the engine completely rebuilt. The engine was not broken, the owner simply had the funds and wish to have this work performed. The car has had a recent Inspection 1 service, with 5 green lights still showing. Total mileage is 116k.
Enthusiast owned, I spent a long time searching for a good Evo II until I found this one, which is absolutety immaculate.
