An opportunity to purchase a well known very rare Gilbern, one of only 197 made. This particular Genie has history from day one, including original purchase receipt from Gilbern Cars dated 2nd April 1970. It's engine was later tuned by Specialised Engines, and is now in stage 1 tune, full deatails of the engine spec., camshaft etc are available.
The chassis has been rebuilt and strengthened by Ivimey's of Bromyard, it has also been fitted with a rear cage by the Rollcentre. S/ S exhaust, new brakes, suspension, refurbished wheels and new tyres. The car requires a new headlining and carpets and would benefit from a respray. MOT to April 2014.
Most of the money spent on this car you cannot see unless you get on your hands and knees. With a bit more cosmetic work this car can be really something. Ideal car for the Gilbern Owners Club Wiscombe Hill-climb.
