This is a Gentry TM that is to say a Triumph based MG TF replica.
However , it was built by a meticulous enthusiast with much professional help for key areas .
Thus the paintwork was professionally sprayed . The engine and gear box are a reconditioned 1296 cc Herald unit with Gentry rocker cover and chromed air filter.
Some special features are the genuine MG radiator , flat and full length unlike the rounded copy often used, the windscreen is an authentic fold down type with substantial chromed bronze mountings not flimsy aluminium brackets.
Suicide doors and side opening bonnet make this very difficult to tell apart from an original TF.
The dashboard has octagonal instrument bezels and MG badges.
The wire wheels are powder coated metallic finish and have brand new tyres.
Stainless Steel exhaust makes the right sort of sound too!
A lovely little sports car which has covered only 10, 000 miles since it was constructed in the 1980's.
Flies through the MOT test , taxed (free) and testedto April 2015.
Tan coloured Hood , side screens and Tonneau cover all in very good condition(no cuts ).
Other interests and projects mean we covered only 252 miles in 2013 so time to let someone else enjoy this classic.
