Description
This is a rare BMW 525i 24v with a 5-speed manual gearbox. It's only been in the ownership of two families for the past 21 years and has covered a total of 119, 500-miles. The car was first registered in Germany in 1993 and imported to the UK in 1995, hence the small kidney grille on an M-plate.
The car is finished in metallic granite silver with dechromed window trims and door handles. The BBS alloys (including the spare) are in really good condition while there is plenty of tread left in all the tyres. The interior is exceptionally clean grey cloth with BMW mats, and everything works apart from the sunroof which only tilts but doesn't slide. The car also features a new battery.
The bodywork is in exceptional condition for its age, with only a couple of stone chips on the bonnet and some very minor scuffs on the bumpers.
The car drives beautifully, with no nasty knocks, squeaks or unwelcome noises - exactly as BMW intended in fact. There is a folder crammed with history and thousands of pounds worth of invoices that comes with this car, and it passed its last MOT in July with no advisories.
This is an extremely original example of the E34 BMW and is a pleasure to drive and own but it is not getting the use it deserves.
