1954 Silver Dawn.
This Rolls Royce is one of the rarest of the marque, being one of only 37 examples of the long boot Silver Dawn manufactured with a manual gear box. There were only 481 long boot Dawns built in total.
This car belonged to Dirk Bogarde during the period he made the Doctor films and appears with him in in the movie Doctor at Large, I have included a still among the pictures.
Last year the car benefitted from a professional bare metal re-spray, in its original colour of Midnight blue, new head lining, a complete overhaul of the front suspension including new king pins and four new Dunlop tyres. I am a Rolls Royce enthusiast and I have owned the Dawn for seven years.
It is being sold to make way for the renovation of a prototype Wraith. During my ownership I have driven it across Europe and it is an Ideal car for continental Touring,
