My 1974 Bonneville 750 has just been run in after a complete engine and gearbox rebuild including the fitting of a matched pair of carburettors. It runs on standard 4 star petrol and no lead additives need to be added. It comes complete with UK and USA trim. Currently the bike is in UK spec. as per the photo with the large tank, king/ queen seat and UK silencers. To change to USA spec. the “peanut” American tank can be fitted along with the longer US seat and US silencers. Naturally the engine and frame numbers are identical and only the indicator units are not standard but correct for year ones will be supplied. (Original indicators are prone to snapping off when people push past the bike and are temporarily replaced by sprung rubber ones) The bike usually starts first kick even after being stood. The bike is currently taxed. The M. O. T. is for 12 months.
Cosmetically the bike is average to good condition but excellent for its age. The price is £3, 000 with both sets of trim or £2, 750 with either full UK or US trim fitted.
