Beschreibung
Built in Canada with Right Hand Drive for the British Government during World War 2 and first registered in London in October 1941. It does not seem to have been used by the military as it was civilian registered which was most unusual. Wood body is dismantled with mostly new wood which has never been re-assembled. Chassis and steel body parts have been sandblasted and painted many years ago. Rolling chassis with axles, gearbox, wheels, springs, shock absorbers, brakes and steering. 24 stud V8 flathead engine needs heads and sump fitting. Has all seats, dash panel, steering wheel amd fuel tank. Current V5C registration document. A unique car and a worthwhile project as these "woodies" in the USA sell for over $100, 000. One photograph here shows the car in the 1960's.
