After 40 years of owning and riding hundreds of bikes I decided I needed to scratch the Harley itch.
After a long search I found just what I wanted.
Imported from sunny California in 2014, means that the paintwork is immaculate, bar one small scratch on the leading edge of the front mudguard. Finished in yellow and black it stands out from all the matt black Harley out on the roads.
It goes as well as it looks, having a number of performance enhancing changes, including Edelbrock RPM 1200 heads, Mukini carb with Edelbrock inlet manifold and a K&N air filter, Dyna ignition coils and a Lockhart oil cooler. Exhaust is has no brand name on it, but it looks like they are S&S headers with a slash cut silencer attached, which sounds great.
I was told by the previous owner that it has an Andrews hi-lift camshaft in it, but without stripping the bike down, I cannot confirm this fact, so please assume that one is NOT fitted-I don't want to mislead anone.
The chassis remains stock, apart from a Sceaming Eagle fork brace, and has the standard 1994 brakes. All the alloy components-engine casings and fork lowers-are all polished. Also has bolt on (genuine Harly) forward foot pegs, which I have never used, and a spare seat in great condition.
Its covered just ovevr 24, 000 miles, only 5, 000 miles have been done on UK roads. It has an MOT until 10th May 2018.
After owning mainly sports bikes for the last 30 years, the upright riding position plays havoc with my back, so my tour down to Albania on it won't happen-I'll do it on my Fireblade.
Just the thing for cruising about on during this coming summer.
