PUCH SG(S) 250 Spilt Single
For sale is my lovely Puch split single .
The bike rides very well and performance from the very unusual split single engine is brisk up to its cruising speed of around 55 MPH .
As can be seen the bike is in very good condition , the only area that lets it down slightly is the rear wheel rim which has lost chrome ( Fully enclosed chain guard is too effective)
Year on the V5 is 1953 , the bike was imported from South Africa in 1992 and the paperwork states 1960 .. Puch Forum / Website suggests frame is 1957 so to be honest take your pick . But it is MOT / Tax expempt either way !
Everything on the bike works as it should including the neutral light . The 2 stroke oil is metered from a separate tank which makes the bike more usable that other 2 strokes of this era ,
Manuals etc are available and parts supply from Austria is very good with on line ordering and fast delivery ( Better than a lot of modern bikes to be honest )
Always makes me smile riding this little bike and its made so well you could confidently ride anywhere on it
