This BMW R80Rt was supplied new in 1985 to the first owner. The gentleman covered 7, 000 miles on the bike until his retirement and it was left to his son who used the bike putting a further 10, 000 miles on it.
The bike was then stored and last used in 2012.
It has recently been recommisioned, with a new battery , new rear tyre, fluids changed, linkages and cables lubricated.
The bike runs and rides very well. A totally original , genuine low mileage machine . There are a few chips and marks but these add to the bikes authenticity.
Supplied with original tool kit, puncture repair and genuine keys.
Stainless steel exhaust system and tank cover which has been fitted since new.
