This car has been owned and in daily use by myself for the last 14 yrs. The current mileage is 165810, the cambelt was changed in 03 at 97146 miles, in 09 at 140500 miles and needs changing at 190500 miles, the MOT expires in May 2018. The original Volvo service and user manuals, a Haynes manual, all 14 MOTs and every service and maintenance receipt for the last 14 yrs are included. The cars condition is good for its age, it is a solid reliable vehicle, now a second car but still in use every week. As you would expect, several items would benefit from attention but none need attention immediately, or at all really, depending on whether you want a concours car or a dependable daily drive. The bodywork is in good solid condition, sills welded, no dents, rust or cracks. Paintwork is good to fair condition. A very cold winter 3-4 yrs ago lifted patches of the varnish coat on the bonnet and roof. A repair with aerosol varnish leaves the finish sound but dull in places. The fuel gauge looks ok but doesnt work, the radio works mainly on MW. The tailgate struts are weak, a prop is provided for safety, the vinyl door cappings are crinkled up in true Volvo fashion.
